Biosketch
Chong-kwon Kim received the B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Seoul National University, the M.S. degree in operations research from Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1981, 1982, and 1987, respectively. In 1987, he joined Bellcore (now, Telcodia) as an MTS and worked on Broadband ISDN and ATM QoS support. Since February 1991, he has been with Seoul National University as a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
His research interests include wireless and mobile networking, high speed network control, distributed processing, and performance evaluation.
